Have you ever found yourself falling asleep in a bus or train – perhaps on your way home from a night out – waking up in the middle of nowhere and a grumpy ticket collector staring at you? Do you ever take the bus some place new, being a little uncertain as to exactly where you're supposed to get off? Are you commuting and wanting to finish that report for work while on your way there? Maybe you're just a tourist in Denmark and don't know the place.

Either way you will love TravAlarm. It allows you to sleep, read, work or whatever you feel like doing while travelling without having to keep an eye out for your stop. When you're there, TravAlarm will sound the alarm and make sure you get off at the right place!

TravAlarm – an alarm clock based on your location – is designed for all of you who use public transportation and who want to be sure not to miss your station or stop, but it can also be used in your car, on your bike and in similar situations. Just select your destination and you can follow the status of your trip: distance, current location and more. TravAlarm keeps track of your location for you notifies you when it's time to get off.

Network:

As an extra precaution in case of bad GPS signal, TravAlarm will, by default, use your device's network as a location provider together with the GPS (can be disabled). Note that, due to limitations in hardware as well as software, it's not possible to guarantee that the network provides correct information on your location at all times: the accuracy of a network fix will typically be around 500 - 1000 m, depending on how the cell towers are distributed around you. A network fix may be adequate, however, if used with e.g. far distance travel when it is not crucial to know exactly how far away from your destination you are.

Task manager / app killer:

If you have a task manager installed on your device, remember to add TravAlarm to the whitelist! Not doing so can cause the location updating service to be terminated unexpectedly.
